- The following qualifications are required of an additional executive chemist: a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with twelve years of experience OR a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree with seven years of experience.
- To be considered for the position of deputy executive chemist, you must have either a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with seven years of experience OR a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree with three years of relevant work experience.
- Chemistry (M.Sc. or B.E./B.Tech.) or a related field plus three years of relevant work experience is required for the position of assistant chemist.
- 12 years of experience as a junior chemist, with a B.E./B.Tech, M.Sc., or B.Sc. in Chemistry.
Age Limit (as of 12th March 2025)
- Maximum 40 years of experience for executive chemists and additional executive chemists
- Assistant chemists, junior chemists, and deputy executive chemists: no more than 38 years
