Today, February 1, 2025, is the official start of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Various test locations in India are hosting the exam, which is being organized by IIT Roorkee. How to Download the GATE 2025 Admit Card

Candidates can download their GATE 2025 admit card by following these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
  2. Click on Admit Card Link: Look for the link labeled “Download GATE 2025 Admit Card.”
  3. Login: Enter your Enrollment ID and Password to log in.
  4. Download and Print: After logging in, download and print the admit card for reference.

GATE 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

To ensure a smooth examination process, candidates must adhere to the following instructions:

  • Report on Time: The minimum amount of time that candidates need to be at the testing location before the start of the exam is sixty minutes.
  • Carry a Printed Admit Card: It is essential to provide a physical copy of the admission card in addition to a legitimate form of government-issued identification, such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or voter ID.
  • Prohibited Items:  The following items are not allowed in the test hall: cell phones, smart watches, calculators, electronic devices, and books and paper.
  • Allowed Items: Inside the test hall, you are allowed to bring just a pen, a clear water bottle, and an approved scientific calculator (if allowed by IIT Roorkee).
  • Biometric Verification: Candidates are advised to refrain from donning accessories such as rings, bracelets, or watches, as they will be subjected to biometric verification.
  • COVID-19 Safety Measures: Applicants should still practice good personal hygiene and adhere to the centre’s safety protocols, even when some of the limitations have been lifted.
