FSSAI Internship: The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is an organ of the Indian government that was set up by the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
It reports to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is the highest authority in the nation charged with making sure all foods are safe to eat and following all safety regulations.

About the Opportunity
The FSSAI Internship Scheme is in its third year of operation, and its goal is to link the food and nutrition industries with educational institutions in a way that benefits both parties.
Through the Food Safety and Standards Administration of India (FSSAI) internship program, participants will have the chance to get valuable experience in a variety of food safety-related fields.
Criteria for Eligibility
Only students enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in law from an accredited university in India or overseas will be considered. – Particularly for the FSSAI (HQ)
Stipend
Upon referral by their connected office or division, the appropriate FSSAI (HQ), regional offices, or laboratories will provide a stipend of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) to the interns who prove to be the most worthy during their internship.
Duration
The internship program will provide opportunities at various times throughout the year, with a minimum length of two months and a maximum duration of six months. We will not provide internships of less than two months.
How to Apply?
- Applicants who meet the requirements may submit their online applications using the link provided at the end of this article by the prescribed deadlines set by FSSAI. A new application is required for applicants who have applied for internships in previous months.
- Before being chosen for the final round, the applicants who made it this far may have to deliver a brief presentation or write-up.
- The FSSAI website will include a final list of chosen individuals, along with their internship term, date of starting, and the corresponding office’s name.
