Admission Process at LU Begins: The admission process for the academic year 2025-26 has commenced at Lucknow University. Course and category-specific costs are detailed on the online registration forms.
Thursday marked the start of Lucknow University’s central admission procedure. Undergraduate course and registration (LURN) application forms for the 2025–26 academic year are now accessible on the SAMARTH website. Paying a registration fee of ₹100 will enable students to get a LURN number, which is necessary for admission in any degree offered by Lucknow University or associated institutes.

The university offers a variety of programs and courses in disciplines such as the arts (BA, BJMC), sciences (BSc (Mathematics Group) (NEP), BSc (Bio Group) (NEP), BVoc (Renewable Energy), BSc (Agriculture)), business (BCom (Hons), BCom (NEP)), law (LLB 5-year Integrated); and fine arts (Bachelor of Visual Art (Painting), Bachelor of Visual Art (Applied Art), Bachelor of Visual Art (Sculpture). BSc or BA in textile design; BSc or BA in yoga and alternative medicine; BSc or BTech in engineering; BSc or BBA in management studies; BSc or BPH in tourism studies; or BSc or BPharm in pharmaceutical sciences.
Marks acquired in the university’s Undergraduate Entrance Test will determine admissions in all the faculties. applicants from SC and ST categories would have to pay ₹400 for the application fee, while general and OBC applicants for undergraduate courses will have to pay ₹800. The application cost for UG Professional courses (BBA and BCA) and DPharm is ₹1,000 for general and OBC students and ₹500 for SC and ST candidates.
