The goal of the NABARD Student Internship Scheme is to provide a new viewpoint by matching interns’ academic interests with NABARD’s agricultural and rural development initiatives. We are pleased to extend an invitation to students seeking degrees in the fields of Agriculture, Economics, agribusiness, and the Social Sciences.
NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2025
Total number of positions: 39, with 34 for regional offices or TEs and 5 for the head office.
The minimum required internship duration is 8 weeks, with a maximum of 12 weeks. The internship must be started and finished by the interns between 18 April 2025 and 31 August 2025.
The monthly salary of Rs. 18,000 plus additional allowances as allowed
Essential Qualification:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in the fields of agriculture and related fields (such as veterinary medicine, fisheries, etc.), agribusiness, economics, agri-economics, social sciences, or management, or they must be in the fourth year of a five-year integrated program. In 2025 and 26, SIS will be available to Indian students who are studying overseas.
Candidates seeking an internship in a certain state must either be permanent residents of that state or be in the process of earning a degree from that state.
The seats at Head Office, Mumbai, however, are available to students all throughout the nation.

Selection Process
- Based on their grades in 10th, 12th, and graduation, applicants for the plan will be chosen to go to an interview based on a weighted score system.
- The interview results will be the only criterion used to choose candidates for the internship program.
